Thank you, Mario, for sharing your warm energy with us and your extensive knowledge of Paestum. It was an enriching experience.

Our visit to Paestum was part of the research for my (Marcel) master thesis at the University of Amsterdam, Faculty of Urban and Architectural History. We were given a tour of over three hours by Paestum expert Silvia Braggio, who vividly connected life in this former Magna Graecia through the Grand Tour period to the present day. Silvia also explained the development of the oldest temple from the Archaic period to that of the Classical period. It was a wonderful experience to enter the interiors of two temples that, until recently, was not permitted. Our visit ended in the wonderful museum, where Silvia explained the most important archeological artefacts. We recommend Silvia to both first-time visitors to Paestum and those doing professional research.

My husband, adult daughter and I had a private tour of Paestum with Silvia. We travel extensively and this was one of the best tours we’ve had. Sylvia is experienced, personable and enthusiastic. It is obvious that she loves sharing her extensive knowledge with her clients. It was great.

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere accompagnati da Francesca, una guida turistica incredibile durante la nostra visita ai templi di Paestum. Le sue spiegazioni sono state dettagliate, chiare ed estremamente interessanti, riuscendo a rendere ogni aspetto della storia dei templi affascinante e coinvolgente. Abbiamo fatto varie visite con le guide del gruppo Itinera partendo da Paestum. I dintorni sono luoghi stupendi come Agropoli, Castellabate, la costa del Cilento. Le guide sono state utili per apprezzare al meglio un territorio così vasto.

First, Paestum is amazing. The archeological site is fantastic. That said, there is not a lot of signage, which is why you want Sylvia share her extensive knowledge with you. She made the history of the place come alive. We have been to many Roman and Greek sites over the years. Out experience with Sylvia at Paestum is among the best
